Program:

I have written the "iue" program which converts IUE spectra archived in FITS format (MXLO and MXHI file name extensions) to two column (lambda and flux) ASCII text. The program is available for Windows 95/NT (Intel 486 or greater) and for HP-UX 10.20 or greater (PA-RISC 1.1 or greater). The FITS files may be compressed or gzip-ed and can be read from Internet with ftp and http protocols.
